A national newspaper wants your story and will pay hundreds of pounds to the right person.

Write a few lines about how computer games turned you to crime and if it’s something we like, we’ll call you straight back.

Unless anyone fancies replying to the ad with a convincing line of bullshit, I guess we’ll have to wait until May to see which one runs the ‘computer games turned me into a criminal’ puff piece, so we can drag this one out for another airing.

The funny thing is, septicisle, I like classic rock, certain metal bands, and old-school blues like Robert Johnson, so I very strongly dislike things like emo. I’m sort of torn as to whose side I’m on between MCR and the Hate Mail. Shame they can’t both lose the battle

I like MCR purely on the grounds of not taking them and their overblown entirety seriously. Treat them as a joke that makes occasionally catchy tunes and they’re fine.
