If we’re being all defensive and uppity about it, I think a more suitable question for Harry Watch would be: “if Harry’s Place alone had claimed a Hamas spokesman was antisemitic, would you believe them?”

Anyway, aside from the trust issues that HW may or may not have with HP, it’s good, honest journalism to refuse to accept a single source as authoritative. You can tell that by the way that the BBC now accepts Associated Press reports like they’re the word of God.

(What’s the current opinion regarding putting a capital S in antisemitism being itself antisemitic? I drifted off during the arguments about the “the” in front of Ukraine and only woke up towards the end of the report about self-identification from the International Council of Furries.)

Would those doctors have called Baghdad suicide bombers, rather than their innocent victims (and the innocents killed by the coalition) ‘martyrs’? To do so, as Ma’an does, seems to me to indicate a certain degree of approbation.
