If you read Keith Parkins’ self written bio, you’d think he was fairly innocuous chap…

Keith Parkins is the author or co-author of a number of articles and papers in the areas of social justice, housing, the environment and globalisation. He has spoken on numerous platforms on the same subject, has helped coordinate or acted as adviser on several campaigns, has worked as freelance journalist, a regular contributer to Indymedia UK and occasional contributer to radical and alternative magazines. He has a background in hardware and software design, computer security and encryption. An advocate of strong encryption, not the weak encryption that is the commercial norm on the Internet.

Long-term supporter of fair trade, sustainable agriculture, farmers markets, local producers. Has helped bring producers, suppliers and small retailers together. Vigorous opponent of the destruction of town centres by large retailers who create ‘clone towns’, where every town centre looks the same.

Then you run into this commentary on Gaza, posted on Indymedia and you realise just how wrong first impressions can be…

It is the British who created the problem when they handed over the British Protectorate of Palestine to the Jews. The Jews did not care who they slaughtered, be it British soldiers or Palestinians. The Jews went into towns and villages and slaughtered everyone they could find, men women and children. The policy was one of spreading terror, to force Palestinians to flee their own country. Who therefore are the terrorists?

And…

The Jews claim they have a God given right to reclaim their homeland. Since when was God an estate agent? They wish to create a Greater Israel stretching from the Mediterranean into Syria and Jordan.

And…

The history of the Jews speaks for itself. They regard themselves as God’s chosen people. They are not, they are God’s cursed people. A people who indulged in infanticide and incest, who worshipped false god’s and graven idols, who committed acts of genocide in the name of their Lord.

The Jews are led by a junta of inbred psychopaths. Generations of inbreeding have wrung the last drop of humanity out of their genetic makeup.

But hey, its not all bad news…

There are decent Jews, ones who are prepared to speak out against the atrocities committed by fellow Jews. They are spat on in the street or worse. Jews like Gerald Kaufman, a survivor of the Holocaust who spoke out in the House of Commons against the present day Holocaust against the Palestinians. Jews like Dovid Von Neumann, who sang a song when Nazi sympathiser Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks tried to address a crowd of fellow Jews at a rally in Trafalgar Square. For singing a song Dovid Von Neumann was detained by the Police. Jews like journalist Amira Hass who for many years has lived amongst Palestinians. Jews like Rami Elhanan who lost his lovely daughter to a suicide bomber.

Interesting.

It seems, according to Keith, that we can divide Jewish people into plain old vanilla Jews (good) and “The Jews” (bad).

I wonder when Keith is going to get around to adding ‘raving Anti-Semite’ to his biography?
