We don’t need no Steenkin’ Kitemark

I think this more or less sums up my feelings about Lord Hunt’s suggest that bloggers might like to voluntarily sign up to a PCC-run kitemark scheme…

Actually, I should point out, as well, that the term ‘Kitemark’ is a registered trademark of the British Standards Institute, which rather sums up the general level of incompetence that has become the hallmark of Press Complaints Commission, an organisation that can’t even manage to float a crap idea without proposing to violate a well established piece of intellectual property.

As for offering Lord Hunt a bit of well-intentioned and carefully thought out advice, I can only suggest that he gets back to us when he’s figured out how to clean out his own cesspit.
